Attention all students traveling to France and Italy over the March Break with the Modern Languages Department, please see Madame to discuss the rooming list.  Please see Madame as soon as possible as this information must be submitted to the travel agency at this time.

Attention students wishing to accumulate some community hours.  The City of Brantford is looking for volunteers for the Canada Day celebration to be held July 1st at Lion’s Park.  See the volunteer hours bulletin board outside for contact information.

Attention Grade 12 Graduating Students who will be attending post-secondary school this fall or in the fall of 2020.  The Brant District Women’s Institute is offering a $1,000.00 Bursary to a successful applicant.  Details and applications are available in Student Services and are due to the Brant District Women’s Institute July 30, 2019.

Were you at prom?  We have some great photos taken with the backdrop of all of you Eagles.  You can see them during senior lunch outside the cafeteria.  You can purchase digital or print copies.

Attention students looking to accumulate some community service hours.  The Brantford General Hospital is looking for summer volunteers.  Students must be at least 15 years old and able to commit to their required minimum number of shifts.  More details and requirements are available on the Opportunities board outside of Student Services.

The annual athletic banquet/bbq will take place June 10th in the school cafeteria.  Tickets can be purchased via schoolcashonline and need to be purchased by today.  Come share a great chicken and rib dinner and celebrate the year in Athletics.  Doors open at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 6:00 p.m. and awards to follow.  Coaches confirm your attendance with Mr. Pomponio.

This message is regarding important information for Graduation.  The families of our graduating students will have the opportunity to enter a lottery for an extra guest pass for the graduation ceremony.  Applications will be available to pick up in Student Services Friday, May 31, 2019.  The application must be signed by parents, dated and returned to the Student Services office by Friday, June 7th, 2019 by 3:00 p.m.  Families who receive an extra pass will find it included in the grad package.  Graduation packages will be ready for pick up in the Student Services office beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 13th, 2019.  The package contains information regarding grad rehearsal and ceremony, one white pass for the graduate and three green Embossed passes for guests.  Graduates must sign for their package and will be required to show their student card.  Students with outstanding extra-curricular fees, textbooks, library books and/or other materials will have to clear all debts before receiving their package.

Students looking to acquire some community hours towards their graduation requirement can earn some at the St. Gabriel School Fun Fair taking place next Tuesday, June 4th or at St. Basil School Fun Fair taking place next Thursday, June 6th. Contact information is available on the Community Hours Opportunities board outside of Student Services.  Check the board today…. don’t delay.

All students attending the Club Francais dinner today are asked to meet at the front doors by 1:55 to board the bus to Simcoe.  You must have submitted your permission forms in order to participate in this trip.

Grade 12 students interested in applying for a $1,000.00 Kiwanis Club of Grand River Endowment Fund bursary can obtain an application in Student Services.  Applications are invited from students who wish to continue their education at a post-secondary institution in Canada with a preference given to students who pursue studies in health education or in a related field.  Applications are due no later than May 31, 2019.

Grade 12 students interested in applying for the Ted Beare Memorial Bursary can obtain an application in Student Services.  Applications are invited from students who have graduated or will graduate in 2019 from a Brant County secondary school and who will begin first year studies in September at a post-secondary institution in a sports related field such as, but not limited to, physical education, kinesiology, media studies leading to a career in sports journalism, or related programs.
