Instructions for BHNCDSB Students Joining Us

Grade 8 students from BHNCDSB schools will have already received their registration package from their grade 8 teacher in December.

Students coming to St. John's College from one of our Catholic elementary schools will be using the myBlueprint website to register on-line for course selections. The SJC Guidance Team will be in contact with your Grade 8 class to assist you with this process in the very near future. Accessing the myBlueprint website is easy!

Important: Your registration and course selection due date is February 11, 2022

 

Instructions for ALL Non-BHNCDSB Students Joining Us

We are excited to welcome you to St. John’s College! The registration and course selection process is the first step in your journey to becoming a Green Eagle. Registering and choosing your courses is easy:

  1. Request a Graduation Package from bspiers@bhncdsb.ca
  2. Complete our Registration Package
  3. Submit your package and all supporting documents for review to St. John's College Student Services/Guidance Department. Packages that arrive without the supporting documents will not be processed. Contact bspiers@bhncdsb.ca to make arrangements for drop off.

Submission of your Registration Package does not guarantee/complete your admission. School officials will advise when the registration has been approved providing all criteria is met. Important: Your registration package due date is February 11, 2022

 

Documents to Gather in Advance

There is a checklist in the Registration Package that will indicate documentation that the school requires. These documents are necessary to complete the registration process and must be provided by you as part of your Registration Package.

  • Birth Certificate. Note: If you were born outside of Canada, in addition to your birth certificate, we ask that you also provide copies of:
    • Citizenship Certificate/Record of Landing (IMM 1000) or passport.
    • Permanent Residence Card.
  • Proof of Residence Documentation/Address. Please note that a driver’s licence cannot be used as proof of address. You will need to provide a utility bill, property tax form, lease agreement, etc.
  • Proof of Custody (if applicable)
  • Individual Education Plan (IEP) and/or Individual Placement Review Committee Report (IPRC) (if applicable)
  • Most recent report card

To register and select courses for Grades 10-12:

  • Registration Packages can be requested by emailing our Student Services/Guidance Department at bspiers@bhncdsb.ca. Please be advised that grade 10-12 registrations require vice-principal approval as part of the registration process.

      DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 25, 2022

 

Instructions for Out-of-Boundary Registration

If your residence is not within the St. John’s College boundary, you will need to provide an ‘Application for Out-of-School Boundary Attendance' form in addition to our full Registration package. To confirm the school designated for your place of residence, visit our School Locator found on the Student Transportation Services webpage.
