Attention students looking to obtain some community involvement hours. We have some new opportunities posted on the board outside of student services. Brantwood Farms is looking for volunteers to assist at their charity event called Ghost Encounters Haunted Barn and Hayride. Positions include actors, security, ticket taking, makeup and costumes. Another opportunity is with our Daily Bread Dinners at Grace Anglican Church. Positions include dishwashing, assisting with serving and cleanup. Also, the Grand River Council on Aging, they are seeking student volunteers to help with their fundraiser called Taco Fest which they will hold at Harmony Square on September 29th. Students can help with a variety of activities including helping vendors and contestants to set up their booths, helping contestants serve tacos to visitors, collect ballots and general errands. Attention all students traveling to France and Italy during the March Break with Madame and the Modern Languages Department, your September payment is due on September 30th. Please stop by room 210 to receive more information.
