All girls interested in trying out for the junior girls’ volleyball team are to grab a permission form from the envelope and sign the list posted outside the gym doors.  Tryouts start early next week.  Days and times will be posted.  Permission forms must be completed and handed in to tryout.  See Mrs. Boyd or Mr. Beaudin if you have any questions

Attention all junior boys football players, please clean out lockers this week and wash all equipment.  Equipment return day will take place on Tuesday, November 13th and Wednesday, November 14th on your lunch.

Attention all senior boys football players, all our equipment needs to be returned to Mr. O’Sullivan by Friday, November 9th and lockers should be cleaned out by tomorrow-Friday.

This is a reminder for Grade 12 students planning to apply to Queen’s University.  If you wish to apply to be a nominated applicant to the Queen’s University Chancellor’s Scholarship, which is a Major Admission Award, please pick up and complete a preliminary questionnaire in Student Services.  To qualify, students must demonstrate superior academic ability, creative, and original thinking.  Questionnaires are due back to Student Services by Tuesday, November 13th, 2018.

Thanks to all writers who submitted all those fine pieces of writing for our upcoming SJC News publication.  Our newspaper club is now looking for a layout team.  So, if you’re interested in creating a first edition, be sure to join this layout and publication team.  We’re starting this Friday, right after school at 3:15 in Portable 6.  See Mr. Heida or Mr. Salciccioli for more information.
